RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

This Return and Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through kapono.us operated by KAPONO.

ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS

To be eligible for a return the following conditions must be met:

Your return request must be submitted within 14 days of the date your order was delivered. Items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and undamaged. Items must be in their original condition with all original tags attached. Items must be returned in their original packaging where possible. Proof of purchase must be provided.

We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not meet these conditions. Items that show signs of wear, washing, alteration, damage, or missing tags will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer at their expense.

NON RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances:

Items marked as Final Sale at the time of purchase. Items purchased at a discounted or promotional price unless otherwise stated. Gift cards. Any item that has been worn, washed, or altered in any way.

HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN

To initiate a return you must contact us at returns@kapono.us within 14 days of delivery. Your email must include your full name, order number, item or items you wish to return, and reason for the return. Do not send your purchase back without first receiving written authorization from us. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted and will not be refunded.

Once your return request is approved we will provide you with return instructions. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item you received was damaged or incorrect. We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method. KAPONO is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

REFUNDS

Once your returned item is received and inspected we will send you an email notifying you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to process and post the refund to your account. Original shipping charges are non refundable. If your return is rejected the item will be sent back to you and no refund will be issued.

EXCHANGES

We offer size exchanges within 14 days of delivery subject to availability. Items must meet the same eligibility conditions as returns. To request an exchange email exchanges@kapono.us with your order number and the size you require. If the requested size is not available we will issue a store credit or refund at our discretion.

DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect you must notify us at support@kapono.us within 48 hours of delivery. Your email must include your order number, a clear description of the issue, and photographic evidence of the damage or incorrect item. Failure to notify us within 48 hours may result in your claim being denied. If your claim is approved we will at our discretion repair, replace, or refund the item at no additional cost to you.

STORE CREDIT

In certain circumstances we may issue store credit in lieu of a refund. Store credit is non transferable, has no cash value, and cannot be applied to shipping costs. Store credit does not expire.

CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES

We take fraudulent chargebacks seriously. If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us to resolve the issue we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback, provide evidence of your purchase and our communications to the payment processor, and permanently ban you from making future purchases on kapono.us.

CANCELLATIONS

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase provided the order has not yet been fulfilled or shipped. To request a cancellation email support@kapono.us immediately with your order number. Once an order has been fulfilled or shipped it cannot be cancelled and our standard return policy applies.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

KAPONO is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase or use of our products. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the item in question.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We reserve the right to update or modify this Return and Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to kapono.us. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of our website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
